The Growing Tree Day Care

Build your business with the power of the Live Oak..
The Growing Tree is a Christian day care for children, ages six weeks to twelve years of age.
The day care is a full time State licensed ministry of First United Methodist Church Uvalde.
The Growing Tree provides both full time, part time, drop in and seasonal care.

The purpose of The Growing Tree is to provide a safe and secure Christian environment in which children can learn, play, and grow. Since 1977, The Growing Tree has provided opportunities for children to develop and enhance peer relationships while being involved in developmentally appropriate activities.

This ministry uses creative play and sensory experiences, along with a Christian curriculum so that kids can grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR CHILDREN:

The Growing Tree is a busy, happy, noisy, nurturing, and creative place for children to grow and learn.  With a commitment to the development and enhancement of the whole child, The Growing Tree helps children attain their emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual strengths.  Our curriculum, classrooms, and outdoor play are are thoughtfully designed to support our goals to:

  • Foster the development of emotionally satisfying relationships.
  • Provide knowledge and experiences to grow healthy bodies.
  • Promote a sense of community responsibility.

PHILOSOPHY:

At The Growing Tree we are committed to the development of the whole child.  In support of this we view the family as the main source of security and identity for the young child.  it is our ultimate goal, therefore, to achieve a fellowship of Christian love and understanding among parent, child, and school.  At The Growing Tree we welcome children of all faiths and cultural backgrounds.
