The goal of Children's Ministries at FUMC Uvalde is to provide children and their families with opportunities to experience God's love and grace, and to identify ways that they may live as faithful disciples in the world. 

"Let the little children come and do not hinder them, for to such belong the kingdom of God!"

    These familiar words remind us that children are very much a part of God's plan.  Indeed, Jesus himself called the children forward to sit on his knee and hear stories of love, acceptance, and forgiveness.  That's why we, at FUMC Uvalde, invite you to join in worship with your children.  Located just outside the main entrance to the Sanctuary are notebooks filled with activities for children of all ages.  Children are free to pick one up each Sunday and return it to the basket following the worship service. There is also a special time in the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services called Young Disciples Time for chidren of all ages to come forward and share in a special time just for them. 

Because children and their families are so important to FUMC Uvalde we provide a variety of activities for children of all ages.  From birth through the sixth grade, weekday and Sunday activities are planned especially with families in mind.
